Holiday Recitals 2025

We had such fun ushering in the holiday season with our mini-recitals! Kermit and Arwen helped us to get ready.

We’re always so glad to have time to talk and enjoy treats with our piano families!

2 very lucky groups were able to catch a glimpse of Arwen before she dashed behind the couch! She is getting braver every day, but is still very shy and a little scared of big groups of people.

Kermit got LOTS of attention at his ‘post’ at the kitchen table – one of his favorite places to be!

And the pickle-hunt continues to grow; we got a new pickle spear ornament to add to the whole pickle, baby gherkin, and pickle slices ornaments!

The kitties required plenty of rest and cuddles after all this socializing, including KittyKitty, who was listening intently to Bonnie in this photo, and choosing to cuddle “remotely” on his heated mat on this particularly cold night!

Thank you to all our students for sharing festive holiday music with us! We wish you all a wonderful, fun, and restful holiday break. See you in January!

Oh my gosh, I’ve been thinking of you all and also kitty kitty on these cold nights! It’s good to see Kermit too. 🙂 Miss you all and having piano in our lives. Ronan just joined band at mount nittany middle school. He’s interested in baritone but really wants to play the euphonium. He followed the blue band’s baritone section several blocks down the street at the PSU homecoming parade. I’m so thankful for the love of music you gave him by the easy going atmosphere in your studio. Things are still very hectic here, but we will definitely be back if we have the chance. Merry Christmas!!!

It’s so wonderful to hear from you, Rebecca! We’ve been thinking of you all too. I’m so happy to hear that Ronan joined the band! That’s such a great musical experience. Amy and I were in band in school, and it’s such a wonderful bonding experience, making music with your peers! KittyKitty is making very good use of his heated house and heated mat in this weather, of course! I miss you all, and I would be thrilled to have them back in lessons anytime! -Bonnie
